The Process for getting your photo into a painting
1. Sort through your photos using the guide, “What photo will make a good painting?” and choose either three versions of the same subject with different aspects, or three completely different subjects to send us.
Photos should be sent through as high quality JPEG files.
2. Complete the form to accompany the photos.
3. We will then assess the photos and completed form, and reply.
a. If your photos meet our requirements for a painting, we will confirm that your
application has been successful. We will send back a proposal for the image as
we think it should be painted, confirmed details, price (which will include
packaging and handling) and an estimated date of completion for your approval.
b. If your photos do not meet our requirements, we will recommend alternatives for a resubmission.
4. You may then approve the proposal and confirm this with a non refundable 20% of the agreed price deposited into our account. This allows us to purchase the materials needed to commence the painting.
5. We produce the artwork and send a photo of the completed piece
for your approval or comments.
a. If you approve the final work, the balance of the cost is to be deposited into our
account and the painting will be sent to your mailing address.
b. If you do not wish to purchase the painting, we will retain the artwork for
a possible sale in our gallery.
